1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms govern your use of AskGrand (the "Service"), provided by T. A. Thompson Enterprise, LLC("AskGrand", "we", "us"), trading as AskGrand.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and have authority to accept these Terms.

3. The Service

AskGrand provides an AI-assisted learning experience focused on AI safety, financial literacy, and digital citizenship. We may update, modify, or improve features at any time.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harass others.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Interfere with security: probe, scan, scrape, distribute malware, or attempt to bypass technical controls.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as expressly allowed.
• Use outputs to provide regulated professional advice without independent verification.

5. AI-generated content

Portions of the Service use generative AI. You are responsible for your prompts and how you use the outputs. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; verify before relying on them. You must have rights to any content you submit. We may filter, refuse, or remove content that violates these Terms, and we may suspend repeat infringers.

6. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and protect your credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, content, branding, and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under your plan.

8. Payments — Paddle as Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which T. A. Thompson Enterprise, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
